So before I tell you about my deals today I want to give my honest opinion on store choices.  I HIGHLY suggest BOTH Kroger and Rite Aid/Walgreens stores if you are serious about couponing.  While Walmart and Save-a-Lot may be cheaper to start out with they do not offer the same deals as Kroger and Rite Aid/Walgreens.  With that said you have to do your own thing.  If you would rather shop at Walmart then by all means; Go ahead but my blog will be *mostly* centered around "my stores" :)

Back to the deals ;)

Today I visited Rite Aid.  I also need to tell you that couponing takes a little bit of prep before hand. I always look at the stores ad online and check out my other favorite blogs for other "unadvertised" deals.  Today my Rite Aid list consisted of Dove Deodorant, Gas-X, Almay makeup, Old Spice, Olay Body Wash. I only bought 1 of those items! Im saying that so you know some deals may not work out!! It happens to the best of us!  I ended up buying Garnie Mousse (Clearance for $2.24-Had $1 coupon=$1.24!), '
Olay bar soap ($3.59 and got a secret deodorant FREE),
Suave lotion (clearance for $1.99-.50=$1.49!),
Uncle Bens Rice X2 (On sale for $2.29-$1 coupon=$1.29; PLUS $1 Up+Reward!) *Will cover that later*
Celestial Seasoning Tea X2 (Not a good deal but had 2 coupons and needed tea ;)
Old Spice deodorant X2 (50% off!! 2.89/piece PLUS had a Buy One Get One coupon! So I only paid $2.89 for BOTH!!)

Im not going to go over my Kroger purchases simply because the sales go off tomorrow but I WILL post the deals for this week tomorrow!
